Your journey begins at 9:00 AM as you meet at our office in Leticia, Amazonas. From there, we’ll walk to the port and take a one-hour boat ride on the Amazon River to the Mario Rivera community of indigenous Ticunas. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to spot various wildlife, including birds. Upon arrival, we’ll set up camp and, if time permits, embark on a jungle walk to explore the area where you’ll be staying. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at 1:00 PM, followed by a short rest. At 2:30 PM, we’ll embark on a boat ride to observe the magnificent pink and gray river dolphins and take a refreshing swim. We’ll then find the perfect spot to watch the breathtaking sunset. As the day comes to an end, prepare for an exciting night walk at 6:30 PM, where we’ll explore the fascinating world of the rainforest’s nocturnal creatures, including tarantulas, insects, and possibly snakes, weather permitting. For the night, you’ll sleep comfortably in a room equipped with a bed and mosquito net.

Rise early for an optional birdwatching session at 5:00 AM to observe the Amazon’s diverse avian life. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at 7:30 AM before venturing into the jungle to discover giant trees like Mata Mata, Capinuri, and Ceibas. While exploring, keep an eye out for the wildlife that inhabits this lush ecosystem, including sloths, monkeys, and a variety of birds. At 1:00 PM, we’ll return for lunch and some relaxation time. Later in the afternoon, at 2:30 PM, we’ll head out by boat again to spot more animals, such as sloths and monkeys, and to witness another stunning sunset, weather permitting. As night falls, we’ll set out to observe alligators (caimans) and gaze at the constellations before returning to camp. Dinner will be served at 8:00 PM, and you’ll spend another comfortable night in a room with a bed and mosquito net.

Start your day with an exhilarating piranha fishing trip at 6:00 AM, followed by a hearty breakfast at 8:30 AM. After breakfast, pack up and begin the leisurely walk back to the campsite. We’ll enjoy lunch at noon before setting out for Monkey Island at 1:00 PM. During the 1.5-hour boat ride on the Amazon River, soak in the scenery until we arrive at Monkey Island, where you’ll have the chance to take photos and interact with the monkeys. We’ll return to camp for dinner at 7:30 PM. You’ll spend the night in a room with a bed and mosquito net, with the option for an evening outing if you’re up for more adventure.

Enjoy a final breakfast at 7:30 AM as you prepare to wrap up your Amazon adventure. After breakfast, pack up and get ready for the return journey to Leticia. We’ll start heading back to Leticia, stopping first at the camp before returning to the city around 11:30 AM. Upon arrival, you’ll have the option to be dropped off at the airport for your flight or at your hotel for an extended stay in Leticia.
